OUR CANDIDATES

Spring cares about our kids and our schools. She is a mom and a grandmother and is active in her church and community. She has her MBA in Information Technology, and has taught at the University of Delaware, Dickinson College, and Gettysburg College. She has previous school board experience, as she previously served on a school board in another district. Smart, caring, and she understands the job. You have our vote, Spring! 

Terry has been a Dover Area School Board Director for the past 20 years. His children graduated from Dover Area High School, and he continues to serve in memory of his daughter who tragically passed away in 2005. Terry drives a school bus for Reliance Transportation and loves attending Dover sporting and musical events with his wife Pam, also a Dover grad. Terry is an advocate for public education and values the Dover staff who do their best to educate "every student, every day, whatever it takes". 

Susan decided to run for the Dover Area School Board after observing a lack of fiscal responsibility from the current board leadership. With her accounting background, Susan possesses the expertise to analyze and understand budgets. As an educator, she understands the importance of ensuring high school graduates are prepared for future academic and career success. Sue's ready to get to work - as she says, "the roofs are leaking, let's stop wasting time!" Sue resides in Dover with her husband and dog, Maverick.   

David has served on the Dover Area School Board for the past three and a half years. With a background in the federal prison system, David supports effective discipline to promote positive student behavior and create a better learning environment. He's a fiscal conservative and believes we need a finance committee to delve deeper into the financial intricacies of our district. We appreciate Dave's service on the board and appreciate his willingness to serve another four years. Dave is a Dover grad and operates a working farm.
